Abstract
This article proposes an analysis of the special guardianship, a
measure of protection of the major, recently introduced in the Civil Code,
following the changes made under Law no. 140/2022 regarding some
protection measures for persons with intellectual and psychosocial
disabilities and the modification and completion of some normative acts. The
analysis concerns the internal regulations in the matter, by comparison with
the regulation of this institution in the French legislation.
